VANRHYNSDORP & IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREA - Finally the moment we`ve all been waiting for. At this stage, it seems like an early flower season in our area, as what we can observe in contrast with last year. We had good rains and the veld looks good.  It’s also mentioned by an local expert that we’ve had more rain than last year, which may change the picture. Last year wasn’t such a good year. At the moment there are already flowers to be seen in town.

VREDENDAL, KLAWER, LUTZVILLE, STRANDFONTEIN, DORINGBAAI AREA - Along the R363 from Lutzville towards Strandfontein patches of flowers can be seen. Whale watching on the cliffs  in Stranfontein can be viewed.  From Vredendal along the R362 towards Klawer patches of flowers.
